Windrow Removal Service in Mississauga
This Driveway Windrow Snow Clearing Program is a city-wide program to clear snow windrows at the end of the driveway. It will allow for a clearing of about 3 m (10 ft) wide after every snow plowing operation to allow one car to pass. The program is offered to seniors (65 years or older) and individuals who are physically disabled as verified by a regulated health professional. The cost of the program is $200 or FREE depending on whether the applicant meets financial assistance criteria. Participation in the program is available to 300 participants on a first come, first serve basis.

Applications will be received at Community Centres, Mississauga Seniors' Centre or the Recreation Customer Service Centre from Monday, August 10, 2015 until 9 pm on Friday, November 13, 2015. The completed and signed form with supporting documentation must be submitted in person.

The program will be in effect from November 30, 2015 to March 11, 2016.
Application form available online at Driveway Windrow Snow Clearing Program Application.

Mississauga City Council enacted the Public Nuisance By-law 0222-2008, to declare signs and advertising devices illegally placed on city road allowances as matters of public nuisances. According to this By-law, residents can be delegated the power to remove illegal nuisance signs within the City upon entering into an appropriate agreement with the City.

The Nuisance Sign Removal Program - The by-law gives residents the power to remove nuisance signs from city streets if they sign an agreement with the City. If you are an adult resident of Mississauga and you are interested in removing nuisance signs from your community, you can register with the Nuisance Sign Removal Program.

If you would like more information on the Public Nuisance By-law or the Nuisance Sign Removal Program, please call 3-1-1 or visit Nuisance Signs at www.mississsauga.ca
