Square One Seniors Wellness Services has been registered as a charity because it benefits the community by relieving conditions associated with aging by operating specialized programs in health and recreation and by offering referrals to services such as clinics, counselling, support groups and workshops on physical and mental health topics.

Message from Square One Seniors Wellness Services

Square One Seniors Wellness Services wishes you all the best in health and wellness this new year!

Health and wellness provides a strong foundation for everything else we wish to do in our lives. With the arrival of a brand new year and resolutions to follow, we invite you to look to Square One Seniors Wellness Services (SOSWS), the charitable arm of Older Adult Centre, to provide you with a wonderful variety of health and wellness programs and services.

If you have not yet attended any of the programs, come and give us a try and you will be welcomed with open arms. If you have already attended a SOSWS program, we are honoured that you entrust us to be such an important part of your lives.

Programs are varied and are offered in response to your requests, including: the Telephone Reassurance Program for older adults who would like reassurance, one-on-one counselling, peer support group, various clinics like Blood Pressure monitoring or educational workshops promoting physical and mental health.

Most programs and services are free at SOSWS and promote physical and mental wellness, social inclusion, independence and healthy active living. Programs can be enhanced by your participation and as our funding base continues to grow. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you this coming New Year.

Telephone Reassurance Program

This FREE program gives peace of mind to seniors 50+ who live alone. The program provides a daily check-in and/or friendly phone call by volunteers. Please CLICK HERE for the Client Application Form, or pick one up at the Administration Office, or call 905-615-3207 for more information.
