Message from Square One Seniors Wellness Services

Happy New Year! This is the time for fresh beginnings and good intentions.

As we ponder and leave 2013 behind us, we are thankful for you! Our members, volunteers, supporters and staff made it possible to keep the quality programs and services running.

This past fall, our Fit-a-Thon raised close to $18,000 in pledges alone! These funds will assist us in providing mostly free health and wellness programs and services. Congratulations, thank you and special mention to the following: top 3 fundraisers: Edna Michelin, Cam Wooledge and Corinne McCallum; top fundraising group: The Mallwalkers; Kai Marks and Bill Pether for best costumes!

As you browse through the Square One Seniors Wellness Services section in this Winter Activity Guide, ring in the New Year by trying something new, like our recently launched dental clinics. You can count on Square One Seniors Wellness Services to be here for you, responding to your requests.

Be sure to join us for our Active Living Fair on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21, 2014, held in partnership with Older Adult Centre.

All the best to you in health and wellness,

~ Esther Williams, President
~ Laurie Docimo, Resource Development Manager
