Wednesday, May 20, 2020 - 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Celebrating 35 Years Heart House Hospice Virtual Butterfly Release from HHH

Saturday, September 12, 2020 - Pick up Live Butterfly 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Celebrate 35 Years of Heart House Hospice by supporting it with the Virtual Butterfly Release, presented by Turner & Porter Funeral Directors.

Purchase a live Monarch butterfly for $25 to release in memory or in honour of a loved one. A charitable tax receipt will be sent by email for eligible portion of your purchase.

For more information, contact Shelley Maynard at 905-712-8119 ext. 233.

Pick up your butterfly at Heart House Hospice on Saturday, September 12, 2020 between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and release it later that day at a meaningful or special place of your choice, or outdoors at your home. If you are unable to pick up your butterfly, Heart House Hospice will release your butterfly on your behalf in honour of your loved one.

Bring an insulated bag, cold pack and tea towel to keep your butterfly cool until you get home. The farm where the butterflies grow assures us that the butterflies are much hardier at this time of year so the release should be quite remarkable.

Please share the name of your loved one when you purchase your butterfly. A link with a special presentation of all names honoured will be sent to each butterfly purchaser following the release date.

Butterfly orders close on September 7, 2020 at 12:00 pm.

Location: Heart House Hospice
1-855 Matheson Blvd. East, Mississauga ON L4W 4L6 Canada

Please note you can only access the parking lot via Timberlea Blvd.
